The Chamfer menu command or toolbar button allows the user to join two lines with an addition diagnal line.

Menu Location: Edit | Polys | Chamfer

To join line segments with an arc simply execute the Chamfer command using the menu command or toolbar button. Next select the first line segment then select the second line segment. CAMCAD will automatically join them if they are joinable. If not, CAMCAD will give the user a choice of joining it anyways using the "snap" command.
