The Generate Pin 1 Marker menu command will place a marker on pin 1 of every inserted component on layers Pin1_top and Pin1_bot depending on the
surface of the component.

Details

The Generate Pin 1 Marker allows the user to easily identify the pin 1 location of the components in the design.
From the Generate Pin 1 Marker Dialog, The user can choose from a Square Marker or a Round Marker and the size.

In this example, we have components located spread across the board with no indication on the orientation of the components at a glance.

Here we can easily identify the pin 1 location of these components.
