Exporting Files from CAMCAD
Having Trouble Finding Your System?
CAMCAD allows users to produce a wide variety of export formats,
including both unintelligent and intelligent files. In general,
choose File | Export, and click on the export format
of choice.
All of the ECAD graphics, netlist, attributes - the entire
project window - can also be saved as a CAMCAD Data file (*.CC).
This provides users a comprehensive way of archiving entire
project information.
*.OUT & *.CHK files
Most CAMCAD exports have ASCII configuration files with *.out
and *.chk extensions, like takaya.out or 3070.chk. The purpose
of the *.out file is to contain commands which will react
to different situations in the ECAD file to produce the most
desirable output files. The purpose of the *.chk file is to
contain syntax checking rules, to verify that the exported
files are syntactically correct for the given output format.

CAMCAD Export Modules
The following table lists the export modules available in
CAMCAD. If you are unsure of what specific exporter
will produce files for your CAD/CAE/CAM system, please look
for the system in the second column or use the navigation
structure on the left to locate the company and system that
you have.
