CAMCAD software is compiled as a COM component that supports automation. Automating CAMCAD “EXE” through third-party applications extends CAMCAD beyond its capability as a standalone application. Another important feature of CAMCAD automation is licensing through automation. This feature allows third party application to control running and licensing specific PCB Reader modules and other licensed functionality in CAMCAD.
